"Immanuel" greeting card

“Immanuel” means “God is with us”. God wanted to experience and share in the fullness of humanity. Thus, he came into the world as a baby - his son, Jesus. Jesus being born in a manger, a food trough, is symbolic of being the Bread of Life. "Whoever receives this bread shall not go hungry. Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you.” -John 6:35, 27.
